Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt

A big part of the reason why I'm looking for a different scent for the wedding to my original choice is that Jo Malone fragrances simply have no staying power. Really I should have just not bothered trying this one, but I did and now I'm mad about it.
Wood Sage & Sea Salt is stunning, and it's basically exactly what I'm looking for. It opens with a big blast of sweet grapefruit that I absolutely adore before drying down into a light, herby, soft cloud of scent that makes me want to drink white wine in the sun in a linen suit. The sweet grapefruit note somehow sticks around the whole time, too. I don't get much salt in the nose here, but I get the idea of sea salt, and I often prefer a scent that evokes something rather than smelling exactly like it.
My partner loves it, too - she scored it and 8.5/10 on me - but the fact is that it just doesn't last at all. I sprayed it this morning and it had gone by the afternoon, and I had to respray before getting home so that she could give it a sniff. That doesn't seem like a massive problem, of course - I could just reapply during the wedding - but my skin really hates me doing that, and I'd rather avoid it.
Right now this is the top contender for the wedding scent, but in an ideal world I'll find something that we both love equally or more than this that also has some staying power. This is only the third fragrance I've tried and I have six months to find The One, so I'm not worried.
But for fuck's sake, Jo Malone. Could you please make something with some staying power?
